Welcome to my blog

My interest in writing, especially poetry came to be when I was in my senior year in secondary school, when I was introduced to the world of prose and poetry of famous figures in literature. With the likes of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Cristina Georgina Rosetti, Edgar Allan Poe, to name a few. Their poetry influenced me and inspired me to follow their themes and moods. As I go through my writing and develop my skill, I want to share my poetry to the rest of the people who will get to be interested on my poems, I just wish that somehow in my own little way I have contributed even just a stray of inspiration to those who are like me, wanted to be a part of poetry world. So I want to welcome every one of you, whether you're a visitor by accident or by design; and for acquiantances, this is the other side of me; here's hoping that you'll be able to get a glimpse of me through the pages of my poetry as you read between the lines...

Somewhere...Somehow...Someday!

Somewhere far beyond
I'll find my place in the sun
Where nobody can deny me
Of my future to see

Somehow I'll find the reason
Why life is so forlorn
How it would really be
For eternal happiness to foresee

Someday only time will tell
Where tomorrow will dwell
For my star will shine brightly
And I would stand victoriously
Over and beyond,
Are the obstacles I have gone;
Somewhere...Somehow...Someday!

Beyond Forever

Fate have brought them together
Love have made stronger;
Life's color becomes far more better
In a promise that is beyond forever...

Be still with a stormy weather
Keep up with the changing world;
Never to be swept away like a feather,
Opening your hearts upon the Lord
With a promise that is beyond forever.

Though time may passed by;
And the future uncertain
Look up unto the sky;
Through the sun, the stars and the rain,
It reminds of a promise
That is beyond forever.

If Only I could

As I gaze upon the blanket of stars at night
I'd wish a comet would cross my sight;
I'll whisper my silent prayer on his flight
Before he could come and kiss the ground alight

An ardent prayer of the heart

Hope it could find an answer from the other part;

Though words are kept unspoken

And reason's were all forbidden

If only I have the power to change

one's emotion from strange

Circumstances would have been different

Time and place would have never been a deterrent

For love knows no boundaries

And it need not take summaries
Even the heart live only as it beats

If only mine had a place on your keeps

How can I, please tell me how can I?

Go through a lifetime with a heart that cry

If only I could make a magic spell
I'd warm your heart,
to let me in and dwell

If only I could touch your heart;

then I'll hold and pamper it with all my might.

If only I could make my wish come true

And let my heart reside in you

A love will bloom and grow

And will forever more remains at glow

Oh if only...
If only I could.

Love Finds the Way

Search out for words to be written
It was you the mind was seeing
Memories of love lost and forgotten
Comes flashing back and drifting

Soar high the heart keeps on whispering
Follow love and take him back again
Since letting go, the soul endured the pain
However distant though, it may not be in vain

'Coz long gone heartaches already in decay
Only love so true had stayed
Constantly longing for the right time to say
My love is here come what may

For in life; after all the verities
and realities of yesterday
The sudden twist and turns that lay
To where an ardent heart had prayed
Only love will find it's way.

A place Somewhere not Far Away

There is a place somewhere not so far away
Where life is free and worries are easy,
Where the journey is safe
And challenges are brief

There is a place somewhere
Where dreams are certain;
And failures are lighten,
Where love is true and pain ceased to exist.

There is a place somewhere
Where the heart swell in purity
And the soul dwells in serenity,
Where time is irrelevant
And only faith is significant.

In the quiet moments of our thoughts,
In the stillness of our hearts
For the gentle caress of God’s loving hand
And the comforts of His unconditional love;
It is in His bosom grace,
Here is the place not so far away.

In Time

When the time comes, I have to forget that I’m hurting
I hope I could find the courage to believe
That I’m strong and not weak

For beneath the façade that I’m wearing,
The pain still remains.

Soon my wounds will be scars of the past

Though it would serve a constant reminder;

I know that I have to move on and let go

To leave yesterday behind for tomorrow

Wishing enough that the heartaches would not show

Through the changing seasons of time.

And if in the future I have to bear it all again
Though things may have changed

I shall not regret in reality

That I’d rather argue with reason

And seek out myself to forgive

Only then would I know;

That I have been healed…
In time.

Sonnets of My Existence

Far away among the blueberry trees
Beneath the distant shadows cast by the mystic moon
On the immortal spring of the seas
In the quiet tranquility of the mountain breeze
lay the sonnets of my existence.

The silhouettes were not unveiled
The journey not yet taken
The trumpets have not been blown
And drum rolls never enacted.

In their solitude they rest
Awaiting the golden moment to dwell
For bright imaginations to turn into reality
Where life could create a dream
When faith would breathe in...

Until they have been written
Till they are awaken from a deep slumber
By a valiant heart who had the courage to believe
In one hungry soul's creed;
There they will forever rest...
The sonnets of my existence.

Between the lines

Varied emotions are laid
unto one's eye to see;
For someone's heart to feel
and for an avid to remember,
The words that was brought together by a fellow
who would want to express the feelings that flow,
The ideas that can't be encompass so;
Through the lines that bares the soul;
only the eager spirit could follow
The thought that echoes through,
If only it could mirror
the shadows that comes forth,
and the visions sought,
upon passing along...
Between the lines.
