How much longer?

When dreams are broken
And frustrations abound,
When tears are in the eyes
And failures already brought us to the ground,
When burdens are too heavy
And worries are not so easy,
We can only ask Him
Lord, how much longer?

When trouble causes us to stumble,
And struggles are profound
When the heart is breaking,
And there's nobody around
When the rain never ceases,
And a flicker of hope is so far beyond
We can only ask Him
Lord, how much longer?

When life is getting unfair
And hardwork doesn't pay;
When the spirit wants to keep on
But the flesh is already in pain;
When courage have vanished
And Faith is diminished;
In silence, we'll try
To vow our heads, clasp our hands,
And bend our knees to pray;
We will ask Him
Lord, how much longer?
